Ride through history on the Mackinaw Trolley as we narrate happenings and events along the way. Includes Fort Michilimackinac area, Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse, Train and Car Ferry Docks, Mackinac Bridge, Father Marquette's Mission and Grave Site at St. Ignace, Indian lore at Ojibwa Museum and the magnificent view from Castle Rock.

As you travel the Mackinaw Trolley Trail, feast upon the grandeur and beauty of unspoiled lands where the Ottawas, Chippewas, and Ojibwas roamed in years gone by: Ride along the desolate shores of sparkling Lake Michigan, walk the Wild Sand Dunes in the faded footsteps of moccasins, view fields of rare wildflowers, visit the McCormick Mansion overlooking historic Cecil Bay on Mackinaw Headlands. A Tour that takes you to parts of the Michilimackinac region that has been lost to most and until now enjoyed only by a fortunate few.

Tour Historic Mackinaw City, Mackinac Point Light and the Mighty Mackinac Brige as we narrate events, happenings, and the many points of interest along the way. The Mackinac Bridge was designated as the Greatest Engineering accomplishment of the entire last century, and you'll see why as you view the Michilimackinac region and the beautiful Straits area from atop this Wonder of the Twentieth Century.

A Lighthouse lover's dream tour takes you to a potpourri of Lake Huron Lighthouses including the Cheboygan Crib Light and Range Lights, Forty Mile Point Light, Old & New Presque Isle Lights (climb the tallest Tower on the Great Lakes), and the Presque Isle Front and Back Range Lights. Stop at Quarry View (largest open pit mine in North America) and see freighters loading limestone at the Calcite Docks in Rogers City, then enjoy a delicious lunch at the Lighthouse Restaurant.

Tour the exclusive Summer Resort surrounding Little Traverse Bay, Historic Society Museum & Petoskey's Gaslight District. See Hemmingway's haunts, famous Sunset Park, and the old Hotels (the Cushman was larger than the Grand Hotel) during the Passenger Railroad era. Then, stop at quaint Pond Hills Farm before enjoying a delicious Lunch & magnificent view from Little Traverse Bay Country Club.

See Northern Michigan's brilliant fall colors and visit scenic working farms producing pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, vegetables, garden fresh herbs, spices, homemade preserves, cut & dried flowers and other fall specialties. Pick a pumpkin or a bucket of gourds right out of the field. Travel back roads to Lakeshore Drive's Tunnel of Trees.
